My Guy in Sepia

So, these photos were taken on a very sunny day and the harsh lighting just can't be undone. I've played and played with it in Photoshop to get something I like, and I ended up with some okay photos for the left page. BUT...the right page photo still looked horrible. So, I turned everything to sepia. Think it looks okay? I'm not sure I'm sold on it.

I like it. My question is this...how do you get HF elements into LT? Scan them? Or am I just missing the obvious? Either way. Looks great!

Here's another thought after looking at it again in the BIG VERSION. What if you turned the white background a soft shade of tan/brown. A just "barely there brown" color? Give it a warmer feel vs. the harshness of the white? Post that version and let's see.

I was hoping the "digital" aspect would go over your head and you would just think I was using a HF kit. LOL Actually, that HF kit provided the founding blocks for my Father of the Year kit that should be released soon.

I took your suggestion to heart and messed around with trying to warm up the background color. Funny thing is that no matter which shade I try, the photos seem to "reflect" that color...almmost like they are tinted to match...it's just an illusion but it's bugging me. I might just go back to full color photos and deal with the bad lighting.

Silly Silly Girl...you can't pull a fast one on ME! If the tan isn't doing it...try a soft blue. Just a faint hint of the blue. I figured the tan would make the pictures blend. But...I was hoping it would pull the eye away from the hot spots. See what blue does...
