Beauty and Brains

Sixth grade awards assembly for the school year was today. Avery ended up with a plethora of medals and certificates:

• A Honor Roll
• Commended TAKS Reading (Texas standardized test)
• Commended TAKS Math
• Science Award
• Social Studies Award

Landon was there with us. We asked him if he thought it was cool that Avery got so much recognition, and he said yes. He's so bright, and his grades are great...just enjoys talking a little too much sometimes. We simply (haha) need to harness that energy a bit, and he's well on his way to following in his sister's footsteps...and making a few smart ones of his own, I'm sure!
