Just when you thought it was safe to go...

to Michaels...I had to do a mini album for the weekly challenge at FaithSisters sponsored by Making Memories. Unfortunately, the package of goodies arrived open with a few embellies and 1 sheet of 6x6 paper. So, I made the trip to Michaels to pick up more paper. Then, I saw another line from MM that I liked even better and bought one of everything in that line. $126 later (don't give me a hard time...I haven't really shopped in over a year), I walked back out to the car, excited about my new goodies.

Then the project started...I love cutting patterns out of paper...I like the dimension/texture it adds to my pages, and I find it therapeutic to cut. It sure is messy though. And since I was already making a mess, I decided to go all the way and pulled out the paints and beads, too! I should have taken a picture of my space when I finally finished. Talk about your disaster area. Michael is quite happy that I primarily digi scrap now. :)

This album is called Girl Power. I made it for my daughter. There is a tag tucked behind each page that has a lesson that can be learned from that individual (all family members).

Bowing Down To You! WOW!

You touched paper. That fact alone is enough to make me fall over. I applaud you. I was playing with paper the other night too. First time in a very long time. Felt sorta good actually. But I Still Love Me Some Digi!
