In retrospect...
I think my foot injury was kind of a backhanded blessing. As I sit here on the last day of the month, barely finishing up some of my CT requirements and thinking about what I did this month vs. what I wanted to do... I just have to confess that sitting on my butt most of the day photoshopping was what needed to happen. If I had been mobile and able to paint rooms and donate 5 million toys and thousands of pounds of scrap paper, I probably would have let a really wonderful opportunity pass me by. God needed to literally knock me off my feet to get me to receive the gift he was handing out. And as far as humility lessons go, this one wasn't too painful...no one lost a job...no one divorced...no one died. Life is good.

God can always put us where we need to be. I am disabled because of spinal birth defects and I would not
be who I am today without Him holding my hand through it all. So glad you got to do what needed to be done. Love your designs.
It's funny you don't realize he is teaching you something until it's over then you get to see what he had planned for you all along.
Hope you are on your feet in no time.
that's how things always happen isn't it :) Hope your foot is all healed up soon :)

Hope your foot heals quickly!
Amen, Sista! I am glad that the blessings are starting to show themselves... He works in mysterious ways, doesn't he?
Isn't it wonderful to just simply sit and relax sometimes? I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and you've just shown a perfect example of that. Enjoy your day of scrapbooking!
I had a lesson in being STILL too! I'm glad blessings came to you in the end! We do end up where we need to be if we just LISTEN!
Seems to be an ongoing theme...Be Still and just BE...hope you are on the road to total recovery...hugs~! =) JackieAnn
