If you know anything about me, I'm sure you already know I think that. LOL Ever since I've been able to move again after hurting my foot, I've wanted to get either a recumbent bike or an elliptical...needing a no-impact cardio workout since I still can't put much weight on the ball of my foot (ie...no running, jumping, backwards lunges, etc.).
I'm so completely uncomfortable in my skin right now...way too much insulation, IYKWIM, and I nearly had a breakdown a couple of weeks back. So, Michael comes in last night with BOTH a bike and an elliptical! Woohoo!!!
I'm excited that the kids can workout, too. I wouldn't let them near the weight machine (too young) or the treadmill (Landon fell off once when he was younger and scraped his arm really badly), so they have been forced to be satisfied with PE (Avery's least favorite subject BTW) and the Wii fit. They can't really get injured on the bike or elliptical because the motion stops when they stop...and they are sitting on the bike, so... Plus, they have jacks for our ipods...each of us can listen to our own playlist when we work out! Even Michael is starting to consider it.
I just finished up a bike workout. I can even do it in my flipflops. Can you say cardio heaven?
