Hope you're having a wonderful day. I confess that I'm less than thrilled that my son was assigned a 3-D book report this weekend. Ugh! I will say that I'm putting my PS skills and digi goods to work though to help him through it. His book is The Curious Adventures of the Abandoned Toys by Julian Fellows. There are several illustrations of piles of toys, so I had him go round up a huge pile of stuffed animals, dolls, etc. (just a fraction of what we actually own), and we photographed it and are going to run a few filters on it to age it and make it look more like an illustration. He's WAY excited to do some of the work on the computer since he's never really enjoyed coloring stuff (he'll still have to do that for one of the other illustrations though).
I gave the blog a little makeover using my Shabby She kit. It's kinda purty, dontcha think?
